Every adviser listed on this site is sourced directly from the ASIC Financial Advisers Register - the same register maintained by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) that all licensed financial advisers are required to appear on.

Our directory is free to search and always will be. We make money through optional featured listings that give advisers and firms greater visibility in their local area.

Where the data comes from

All adviser data is sourced from the ASIC Financial Advisers Register, a public government register maintained under the Corporations Act 2001. The register records the registration status, authorisations, qualifications, memberships and disciplinary history of all currently and previously registered financial advisers in Australia.

We import and update the full register every week. This means adviser data - including registration status, authorisations and any disciplinary actions - reflects the most recently published ASIC data. If an adviser's registration is cancelled or suspended, they are removed at the next weekly update.

Firm data including office locations, phone numbers and reviews is supplemented from publically available sources and verified by our team before being published.

What the data includes

For each registered adviser we display their full name, ADV registration number, current authorisation status, product authorisations (such as superannuation, managed investments and tax financial advice), qualifications, professional memberships, and disciplinary history where recorded by ASIC.

We do not hold or display personal contact details for advisers unless they have claimed their listing and chosen to add this information themselves.

Claiming your listing

If you are a registered financial adviser, you can claim your listing for free. Claiming allows you to add a personal bio, profile photo, contact email, website, and direct phone number to your profile. Claimed listings also display a verified badge.

All claims are manually reviewed by our team before approval. We verify that the claimant matches the registered adviser on the ASIC register.

Featured listings

Advisers and firms can pay for featured placement in their local area. Featured listings appear at the top of suburb pages and in the interactive map panel, above standard listings.

Featured placement is available for individual advisers on a radius basis (metro, regional and rural pricing), and for firms on a per-adviser-count basis. A firm subscription automatically upgrades all advisers registered under that AFSL licence.

Industry news

Our Industry News section reports on regulatory actions published by ASIC, including banning orders, licence suspensions and other enforcement outcomes. All news items are based on official ASIC media releases and link directly to the source. We do not editorially embellish or add commentary beyond what ASIC has published.
